South/North Korea Shipping Transport Support Center

Striving to become a window for South/North Korea exchange and cooperation.

All KSA executives and staff members will do their best to respond to diversified South/North Korea trade through smooth transport support of South/North Korea shipping and to be the cornerstone for the development of mutual shipping port industries.

 

Organization

Center Chairman Korea Shipping Association (KSA) Chairman / Secretariat KSA Administration Office / Steering Committee Government, pertinent agencies, institutions, organizations, etc.
 

Composition

 
  • Center Chairman: KSA Chairman
  • Steering Committees: Operating with 7 to 10 members
  • Steering Committee:Deliberation and consultation on major policy decisions such as the review of qualified ship recommendation criteria
    • Director of Coastal Shipping Division, Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries
    • Head of South/North Korea Trade Logistics Team, Office of South/North Korea Economic Cooperation, Ministry of Unification
    • Director of KSA Administration Office
    • Additional organization, if required
    • * In the event that there is a need to improve the efficiency of the South/North Korea trade cargo system, forwarders will participate

Basis of Operation

  • Establishment of the basis for eligibility screening in "Shipment Restriction Notice for South/North Korea Routes" (Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries)
  • Establishment of "Operation Guidelines for the South/North Korea Shipping Transport Support Center" (KSA)
