Claim Handling Procedure

  • The amount of damages could be significantly reduced depending on how the first action was taken at the time of occurrence, and first of all, it can help expedite the handling of the accident to promptly notify the association of the occurrence of accidents by identifying the details of the accident, the damage status, and the related parties.
  • The general procedure for handling Insurance accidents is as follows:
Report of accident occurrence
  • Required Documents: Accident reports, captain's accident statements, medical certificates, and other documents related to the accident
Survey and Handling
  • Checking on Insurance Contract and Accident Overview
  • Interview with the injured, medical request to designated hospital and so on
  • Appointment of surveyor and adjuster (if necessary)
Claim of compensations
  • Required documents: Claim bill for Insurance amount, documentary evidence (tax invoices, remittance statements, medical bills, agreements and so on)
Payment of compensations
  • Review on the surveyor and settlement report
  • Checking claim bill for Insurance amount and calculating Insurance amount
  • Payment to the recipient of the Insurance amount
